Change is Good

The Officers of ITE '99 got together and decided that some changes were in line. We put our heads together, did some brain storming, asked questions and listened to what was said. When everything was said and done, we put together several ideas for the benefit of all the ITE members. This Web page is a direct result of our brainstorming. We want members to feel that they belong to a club that gives something back to the members and keeps them informed. Several ideas are being worked on and will be implemented in the very near future. We want to have a club that people WANT to join and Members that are proud. The Officers of ITE are fired up and motivated to work for you. Any suggestions or ideas about what you might like to see the club provide to members, bring it up to one of the officers and we will see what we can do. Hope to see you at our next meeting, to be announced.

Our Mission Statement

ITE '99 is going to provide ECPI Evening Student Members an opportunity to achieve their optimal educational potential in order to prepare them for the Information Technology professional fields they are pursuing. We will accomplish all this at ECPI Virginia Beach through monthly club meetings, study groups, workshops and participation in the ITExchange Virginia Waterfront Chapter.

ITE'99 Newsletter
We are publishing an ITE NewsLetter and automatically send it to all members who desire. The letter will also be available at this site and will contain all the latest club information. Anticipate release of the first newsletter in the near future. MCSE
MCSE...What is it? Are you working towards your certification or thought about MCSE? We have organized a study group to help interested individuals get the knowledge through study sessions for this certification. HTML Workshop
We are working on several workshops to help programmers and non-programmers with interesting subjects. We held our first HTML workshop on January 27,1999. We had a good turn out of people and interest was high. Another workshop on HTML and web page design is scheduled for February 27, 1999 and will build on the basic foundation provided in our first workshop. More advanced topics will be discussed and a question and answer session will be included. Bring your questions and join us. Just a reminder, the workshop is open to any student at ECPI. This should be a fun and exciting time for all. Once again David Gardner will be conducting this workshop. Hope to see you there.
